Grainne Ryan Medical Aesthetics has been chosen as this months clinic of the month for Munster.

We’re delighted to spotlight Grainne Ryan Medical Aesthetics as our Clinic of the Month for Munster. The established clinic has quickly earned a reputation for its integrity-led approach and beautifully natural results. Built on a foundation of medical expertise, honesty, and genuine patient care, the clinic stands out for prioritising long-term skin health over quick fixes, while creating a warm, welcoming environment where patients feel truly heard.

In this exclusive Q&A, we speak with Grainne about the vision behind her clinic, the treatments she’s best known for, and the philosophy that continues to shape her success.

 1. What was your vision behind Grainne Ryan Medical Aesthetics?

My vision was to create a clinic grounded in medical integrity, where aesthetic treatments are approached with the same care, precision, and ethics as any other area of healthcare. I wanted a space where patients feel listened to, respected, and never rushed into decisions. From the beginning, the focus has been on natural results—enhancing rather than altering—and building long-term relationships based on trust and transparency. It’s so important to me that there is an honest, open relationship with the patient where they are assured that they are getting the best advice, care and treatment that is available to them, and of course it’s important to have a bit of craic also!

2. What treatments and technologies are you best known for?

We are particularly known for subtle, regenerative-focused treatments. This includes advanced injectables including  biostimulators, neuromodulators, ski boosters and dermal fillers. We also provide microneedlinng, chemical peels and skincare. We are very proud to have the Sylfirm X Radiofrequency Microneedling machine as well as the Promoitalia I Lazer which has a range of uses. I have always prioritised treatments that deliver long-term skin health rather than quick fixes, and we invest in technologies and treatments that align with that philosophy.

3. Many people feel nervous before trying aesthetic treatments. What’s the most unusual or heart-warming reaction a patient has had after a session?

One of the most memorable moments was a patient who became emotional—not because of the physical change, but because she felt like herself again after a difficult period in her life. She said it wasn’t about looking different, but about regaining confidence she thought she had lost. Those moments are incredibly humbling and remind me that aesthetics is deeply tied to emotional wellbeing, not just appearance. Being able to make people feel happier & more confident in themselves is the cornerstone of what we do.

4. What’s the secret to your success?

Consistency, honesty, and restraint. Knowing when not to treat is just as important as knowing when to proceed. I prioritise patient education and realistic expectations, and I never compromise on safety or quality. Over time, that builds trust—and trust is ultimately what sustains a practice.

5. What’s next for your clinic as you look ahead to 2026/2027 and beyond?

The future is very much focused on regenerative and preventative aesthetics. We are expanding our offering in treatments that stimulate the body’s own repair mechanisms. Education will also continue to be a major focus—both for patients and for other medical professionals entering the field.
