Learn more about Noelle below in our weekly Q&A.

Tell me about yourself and your background.

My name is Noelle Loughlin, and I’m the National Glacē™ Sales Specialist for Candela Medical UK & Ireland.  I live in Blessington, Co. Wicklow, with my husband and our four children, so life is always busy! Before joining Candela Medical, I spent over 20 years working as an aesthetician specialising in Laser and Skin treatments. That experience gave me a real understanding of client care, treatment outcomes, and what clinics need to succeed.

I also have experience as a clinical trainer, so I love combining my clinical background with the commercial side of the industry, helping clinics grow while delivering great client experiences. Building strong relationships and seeing customers achieve success is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

What does a typical week look like for you at Candela?

A typical week with Candela is incredibly varied, which is honestly one of my favourite parts of the role. One day I could be meeting with luxury clinics like Harrods or Dr Haus on Harley Street, and the next I’m spending time with amazing local clinics like Zeya, Devine Skin Nurse, or Dermaglo or supporting bigger clinic chains like Kerry Hanaphy and Skin Doctors clinics.

My role involves travelling across Ireland and the UK, meeting clients, conducting demonstrations, supporting training, attending events and trade shows, and helping customers grow their businesses.  I absolutely love meeting clinic teams and staff, the energy, the passion for skin, and hearing about their clients and goals is always so inspiring. My focus is always on building long-term partnerships. With Glacē™, I spend a lot of time helping clinics create treatment journeys and combination treatment plans that improve treatment outcomes, increase client retention, and maximise the return on their investment.

How would you describe the current aesthetics market in Ireland?

The market is evolving quickly, and clients are becoming much more educated about their treatment options.

There’s a huge focus on skin health and stacking treatments currently, with clinics looking for ways to deliver better results and create long-term customer loyalty.

In my opinion, there is currently a significant opportunity for clinics to create personalised treatment journeys that deliver great results and keep clients coming back time and again. Glacē™ fits perfectly into this trend because it works so well as a standalone treatment or alongside other aesthetic procedures as a stacked treatment to enhance results and minimise downtime.

The feedback I am currently receiving from clinics is incredible, and I believe the Glacé Facial is currently the trending skin treatment on social media.

What approaches have you found most effective when building relationships with clinics?

For me, it all comes down to trust, reliability, and support.

Each clinic is different, so I take the time to understand their goals and challenges before recommending solutions. Beyond training, I help customers with treatment protocols, marketing ideas, treatment stacking, and patient retention strategies.

The strongest relationships are built when customers know you’re invested in their success and there to support them long after the device is installed.

What skills are essential to succeed in your role?

A strong clinical understanding, good communication skills, resilience, and the ability to build relationships are all key.

My background as an aesthetician helps me relate to practitioners and understand the challenges they face every day. I think being adaptable and genuinely passionate about helping customers succeed is also incredibly important.

Ultimately, this industry is all about people. When you help clinics achieve better patient outcomes and grow their businesses, the results speak for themselves.

I am confident that my experience and skillset allow me to collaborate with clinics who invest in our devices and to grow their business in partnership with Candela and in line with our core values of Science, Results, Trust.
