BTL welcomes guests to Elevate Aesthetics showcase
BTL Industries Ireland welcomed many excited guests to their Elevate Aesthetics showcase in Galgorm Estate Hotel. The event…

The BTL Face, Body & Mind conference brought together aesthetic professionals from across the UK and Ireland for a day of education, connection and forward-thinking insight on Sunday, 26 April at Barberstown Castle.
Set within one of Ireland’s most distinctive historic venues, the event delivered a carefully curated programme that reflected a growing shift within aesthetics – towards a more integrated, holistic approach that considers not only external results, but overall wellbeing.
The day was expertly guided by Liz Dwyer, whose seamless hosting set the tone for a dynamic and engaging programme.

Opening the conference, Dr Sherina Balaratnam explored the architecture of ageing, focusing on the interplay between muscle, collagen and structural integrity. Drawing on her clinical experience in Buckinghamshire clinic, she highlighted the importance of treating patients from the inside out. Her work with EXOMIND demonstrated how improving mental wellbeing can also positively impact external aesthetic outcomes. This is an approach that resonated strongly with the event’s central theme.

BTL Key Opinion Leader Sahra Courtney, founder of the Adventé Clinic in Jersey and a recognised BTL Centre of Excellence, shared insights from working with high-performing executive clients. Across multiple sessions, Courtney focused on building scalable clinic models, including how to maximise EMSCULPT NEO and EXION as revenue streams, alongside developing comprehensive full-face strategies using EMFACE and EXION.

Also taking to the stage, Dr Ahrooran Sivakumar shared his experience with EMSCULPT NEO, focusing on how to scale body contouring treatments for consistent, high-quality results. Representing A Aesthetics North Coast, he highlighted the importance of clinical expertise, patient outcomes and long-term treatment strategies in building a successful practice.
A major focus throughout the day was EXOMIND, one of BTL’s newest technologies and a winner at the 2026 Aesthetic Awards. Dr Ivan Murray, consultant psychiatrist and founder of Neuromed Clinic, discussed integrating EXOMIND into his practice following years of experience with TMS therapy. He outlined how the technology is now being utilised not only to treat depression and enhance cognitive function, but also within aesthetic and wellness clinics – further bridging the gap between mental health and aesthetic medicine.
Sahra Courtney also presented her ongoing case study, The High Functioning Executive Paradox, which follows 20 high-performing individuals undergoing a six-treatment protocol, with detailed monitoring of behavioural and cognitive improvements.
The event showcased the full BTL aesthetic portfolio, with hands-on demonstrations of EMFACE, EMSCULPT NEO, EMSELLA and EXOMIND, giving attendees practical insight into the technologies shaping modern clinics.
Among the expert speaker line-up were Dr Peter Prendergast (Venus Medical), Dr Shad Siddiqui, Dr Ahrooran Sivakumar, Lauren Clements, and Adriano Di Giulio.

Lauren Clement used her years of expertise as BTL UK’s marketing manager to detail a 90-day acceleration plan when marketing a BTL device to create the biggest impact.

Dr Prendergast presented MeTime, his AI-assisted patient management platform designed to simplify the journey for those seeking aesthetic and surgical treatments. Founded in 2019, MeTime uses advanced AI and medically developed algorithms to provide personalised recommendations and connect patients with appropriate, trusted providers in a secure environment.
Meanwhile, Di Giulio travelled from Spain to introduce AuraAI, an AI-driven revenue platform designed to support clinic growth and optimise performance.

The BTL Face, Body & Mind conference delivered a compelling vision of the future of aesthetics – one defined by innovation, integration and a deeper understanding of the connection between mind and body. With engaged delegates, hands-on learning and meaningful discussion throughout, the event marked a significant step forward for the industry.
