When it comes to next-generation skin treatments, patients want one thing above all: results they can see, without the downtime they can’t afford.

Enter Secret DUO, the latest innovation from Cutera – and one of the most exciting aesthetics launches to arrive in Ireland this year. Already creating buzz in Korea and the UK, Secret DUO has now officially landed at Beacon Face and Dermatology, where Dr Kambiz, one of Ireland’s leading facial rejuvenation experts, is already seeing why this treatment is such a game-changer.

Why is now the right time for Secret DUO to launch in Ireland?
Secret DUO is still a very new technology but the timing for Ireland is excellent. For a long time, there was a bit of stagnation in the aesthetics device market. In the last couple of years, we’ve finally
started to see real innovation again, and Secret DUO is one of the standout developments.

What makes it especially relevant right now is its appeal to a wide range of patients: those looking to improve skin tone, texture and overall quality, but who also want minimal interruption to their
daily life.

What exactly makes Secret DUO different?
At its core, Secret DUO combines two powerful technologies in one highly versatile platform: radiofrequency microneedling and a non-ablative erbium glass laser.
It’s called ‘DUO’ because you’re getting dual action. You have the Secret RF component, which stimulates collagen through radiofrequency microneedling, and then the erbium glass laser, which helps rejuvenate the skin without breaking the surface.

That last part is key. Unlike more aggressive ablative lasers, Secret DUO works without removing the top layer of skin, meaning patients can still achieve visible rejuvenation.

Think firmer, smoother, fresher-looking skin, with significantly less downtime.

Is Secret DUO just for a glow-up, or can it deliver serious correction too? The beauty of Secret DUO lies in its flexibility. For some, it can be the ultimate pre-event skin boost – a lighter treatment that
delivers a “laser facial” effect, leaving skin tighter, brighter and with that sought-after glass-skin glow.
But it’s not just a superficial glow-up. It can also be used more intensively for patients with concerns like early laxity, texture issues or acne scarring. You can tailor the treatment depending on the person, their skin concerns and the downtime they can realistically manage.

What kind of results are patients seeing so far?
The response so far has been incredibly encouraging. Patients often report an immediate tightening effect, which is exactly what we want to see. And we’re also seeing that fresh, luminous quality to the skin quite quickly. In fact, even his own team have been trying it. A lot of my staff have had it themselves, and they’re seeing that beautiful glow we talked about.

Why has Beacon Face and Dermatology chosen to partner with Cutera?
As Cutera’s Centre of Excellence in Ireland, Beacon Face and Dermatology Clinic has chosen to partner closely with the brand – and for good reason. I’ve been working in facial rejuvenation for over 20 years.
Cutera’s devices are exceptionally well made, highly reliable, and backed by strong support. They also continue to invest in research and innovation, which is incredibly important.
