A new landmark event for Irish medical aesthetics is set to debut this spring as BTL Ireland launches its inaugural Face, Mind & Body Conference and Awards 2026 at the stunning Barberstown Castle on Sunday, 26 April 2026.
Set against the backdrop of one of Ireland’s most iconic venues, the event promises to bring together some of the most influential voices in aesthetic medicine, wellness, psychiatry, business, marketing and AI for a day of insight, innovation and industry celebration.
Designed as a forward-thinking forum for modern clinic partners, the conference reflects the increasingly holistic direction of aesthetics, where treatment outcomes are no longer viewed solely through the lens of appearance, but through the interconnected pillars of face, body and mind.
Delegates can expect a dynamic day of education and networking, with opportunities to connect directly with BTL’s expert panel and a distinguished line-up of international and Irish speakers. From practical clinical insight to the latest non-invasive technologies, the programme is tailored to support practitioners and clinic owners looking to stay at the forefront of a rapidly evolving sector.
As one of Ireland’s leading medical aesthetic device companies, BTL has played a significant role in shaping the non-invasive treatment landscape. The brand has become synonymous with innovation in body shaping while continuing to expand its influence across facial rejuvenation, wellness and mental wellbeing.
A world-class speaker line-up
The conference will feature a diverse and highly respected faculty spanning aesthetic medicine, reconstructive surgery, psychiatry, clinic leadership, marketing and artificial intelligence.
Among the headline speakers is Miss (Dr) Sherina Balaratnam, a doctor with more than 26 years’ experience, including seven years as an NHS reconstructive surgeon.

With a deep understanding of anatomy, skin and scar management, Dr Balaratnam has spent the past 14 years specialising in aesthetic medicine, integrating surgical principles into advanced aesthetic practice to optimise both functional and aesthetic outcomes.
Also taking the stage is Dr Peter Prendergast, Medical Director of Venus Medical in Ireland and founder of MeTime. An internationally respected lecturer and published author in aesthetic medicine and surgery, Dr Prendergast is widely recognised as one of Ireland’s leading voices in the specialty.
Adding a powerful mental health dimension to the event is Dr Ivan Murray, Consultant Psychiatrist, ADHD specialist and Medical Director of Neuromed Clinic in Ireland and Canada. With extensive international clinical and academic experience, Dr Murray is known for his personalised, multimodal approach to adult mental health, ADHD and related conditions – a fitting inclusion in a conference placing “mind” alongside face and body.
Sahra Courtney, Founder and Clinic Director of Advante in Jersey, Channel Islands, will also bring her expertise to the programme. A Global Key Opinion Leader for BTL Aesthetics, Courtney works internationally to support clinics in education, implementation and optimisation of the BTL portfolio. She most recently contributed to the EXOMIND launch during the symposium at IMCAS World
Congress in Paris.

Aesthetic physician Dr Shad Siddiqui will share his holistic approach to rejuvenation, combining precision injectables with advanced technologies such as Emface and laser therapy to deliver natural, individualised outcomes for both male and female patients. Widely regarded as an expert in the field, Dr Siddiqui remains at the forefront of contemporary aesthetic trends.
On the business and brand side, Lauren Clements, Marketing Manager for BTL Aesthetics UK, will offer valuable commercial insight. With more than five years’ experience in aesthetics and medical devices, Clements specialises in translating complex technology into clear, commercially aligned and measurable marketing strategies built for long-term growth.
Representing the Northern Ireland clinic landscape are Duvessa Cochrane and Dr Ahrooran Sivakumar of A Aesthetics North Coast. Cochrane, Clinical Director, brings more than a decade of nursing experience, including eight years dedicated to medical aesthetics, and is a familiar speaker at major industry events such as ACE and CCR. Dr Sivakumar, Medical Director of Dr A Aesthetics and A Aesthetics North Coast, combines surgical precision with a strong commitment to ethical care, professional standards and exceptional
patient aftercare.
Completing the line-up is Adriano Di Giulio, Founder and CEO of Aura, an AI-powered revenue infrastructure platform built specifically for clinics and treatment-led businesses. With over a decade of experience scaling digital ventures globally, Di Giulio will spotlight how AI is transforming clinic growth through automation, patient communication, consultation booking, reactivation and revenue optimisation.
A conference with a wider vision
What sets Face, Mind & Body apart is its broad and timely perspective. Rather than focusing exclusively on devices or procedures, the event appears to mirror the wider evolution of the aesthetics sector – one in which clinical excellence, emotional wellbeing, commercial intelligence and technological integration are increasingly inseparable.
For delegates, that means the opportunity not only to learn about the latest advancements in non-invasive treatments, but also to gain practical knowledge around clinic growth, patient psychology, wellness-led care pathways and the emerging role of AI in modern
practice.
With hundreds of delegates expected from across the island of Ireland and beyond, the event is poised to become a significant new date in the professional aesthetics calendar.
Celebrating Excellence: the inaugural awards ceremony
Following the daytime conference, the evening will transition into an awards ceremony, dinner and entertainment — a celebration of excellence across BTL’s clinic community and the wider aesthetics industry.
The conference begins at 9:00am, with the awards ceremony commencing at 6:30pm.
The awards will honour standout clinics and practitioners across a range of categories, including:
With clinics actively encouraged to enter, the awards are expected to shine a spotlight on the innovation, dedication and entrepreneurial spirit driving the aesthetics industry forward.
A new flagship event for Ireland’s aesthetics sector BTL Ireland’s inaugural Face, Mind & Body Conference and Awards 2026 arrives at a moment when the aesthetics industry is redefining itself — moving beyond treatment trends to embrace a more comprehensive vision of patient care, clinic success and technological progress.
